When using the Luke Roberts Alexa skill, you need established names for your smart lamps. There are two ways to define these names:
- Alexa will use the lamp names that you already use within the Luke Roberts app. The lamp name is shown in the Luke Roberts app home screen and can be changed in the lamps Settings menu.

Alexa allows you to override the existing name of a device for voice control. In the Alexa app, go to the Devices Tab and select the Lights icon. Tap on the lamp to see its controls and then on the dots icon to enter the device settings where you can use Edit Name to adjust the lamp name.
- You can also create an Alexa group, like Bedroom or Kitchen, and add the smart lamps to the group to control the lamps in the group using the group name. More information is available at Create a Smart Home Device Group (http://tinyurl.com/alexa-smart-home-groups).
